    "TechBiz Creation & Matchmaking" is a project to support companies that aim to expand overseas with advanced content technologies. In this session, four companies selected from a large number of applicants will be challenged to make a three-minute pitch in English to showcase their technology.
    This is a must-attend pitch battle in which experts of technology, business media, investors, and guests from SIGGRAPH and SXSW are invited to comment on the pitches of the four companies, giving dry comments and sharp advice!

    *Simultaneous translation will be provided for the discussion.
    *On the same day at 4:00 p.m., Part-2, another four companies will be pitching in Avatar in the VR space, so be on the lookout for this as well.

    This year’s Tsumugi Award will be given to Sputniko! who is an artist and Professor of Tokyo University of the Arts. Takumi Award will be given to Yutaka Matsuo, a leading AI resercher and Professor of the University of Tokyo.
    Now that the COVID-19 makes it difficult to see the future. What kind of hope for the future can intelligence and art lead to? How will the world and Japan change in the future?

    Professor Hiroshi Ishii, Associate Director of MIT Media Lab has been studying "Tangible" for many years. "Tangible" is a concept that makes digital tangible by giving physical form to digital information and computation. He is the first person in Asia to win SIGCHI LIFETIME RESEARCH AWARD that is given to a person who has made significant contributions to the academic field of human-computer interaction.

    He said that today's technology becomes obsolete in a year, but true visions will last beyond 100 years.
    What is "true vision"?
    How do science, art and design interact to create a new vision for the future?
    Professor Ishii's motto is "Be Artistic and Analytic. Be Poetic and Pragmatic."
    A hint for those of us who live in today's uncertain future with COVID-19 will surely be hidden in those words and his lecture.
