Technical Specification

ALE is a Japan-based space start-up who takes on the challenge to create world's first on-demand man-made meteor shower by using micro-satellites, which will deliver a unique entertainment experience for many to feel space closer. From the science perspective, man-made meteor particles collect upper atmosphere data to enable ALE address environmental issues (climate change, space debris) and develop new businesses.

Achievements:
- Jan. 2017: ALE was selected by JAXA 'Innovative satellite technology demonstration program'
- Jan. 18th 2019: ALE-1 was successfully launched. Communication between ALE-1 and ground station was successful. ALE-1 is fully operational
- Now: The development of ALE-2 has reached the final stage. Launch planned after spring 2020.
