The Japan Committee of the International 3D Society (I3DS-J) will hold the symposium and several seminors of 3D University in Japan (3DU-J) at DIGITAL CONTENT EXPO 2012 At 3DU-J, a qualified superior 3D content will be honored as the prize of Lumiere Japan of International 3D Award 2012. In this opening session, activities of the I3DS-J and outline of the 3DU-J will be introduced.
Jim Chabin
President of International 3D Society
Jim Chabin serves as President of the International 3D Society, a worldwide community of 3D professionals advancing the arts and sciences of 3D. Mr.Chabin is the past President of the Academy of Televison Arts and Sciences, the worldwide organization which presents the Emmy Awards. He is also the past President of Promax and BDA, an educational professional organization of broadcast graphic designers and marketing professionals in 30 countries.
Mr. Chabin also served as Vice President of National Promotion and Network Development for E! Entertainment Television, a Hollywood-based cable network, owned by Comcast. He also served as Western Marketing Manager for the CBS television stations. He began his career in radio broadcasting.
