We accept reservations for symposiums, seminars and stage events. As we stop accepting reservations for each event as soon as the number reaches the limit, we recommend you to make a reservation well in advance especially for popular events.

●There are some events where no reservations are accepted.
●We can accept walk-up guests if there are vacancies but we recommend earlier reservations.
●When you cancel your reservation, please let us know of your cancellation. How to cancel a reservation is indicated on the reservation confirmation mail which you received. ●Please receive an admission ticket for each event at Reservation Desk in DC EXPO Exhibition Hall (1st Floor) before attending the event. Therefore, please bring a print-out of the reservation acceptance e-mail or show the e-mail screen of your device to the desk attendant.
●Please understand we might start giving your seats to walk-up guests five minutes before the event starts. Please come five minutes before the event starts even if you have a reservation.

JST ACCEL Embodied Media Project 3rd Symposium "XPRIZE Challenges: Making the Impossible Possible"
Outline
JST ACCEL Project on Embodied Media: construction and deployment of embodied media technology based on haptic primary colors has been launched and led by Susumu Tachi, Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo. This project aims to develop an integrated haptic sensor and a display system based on the principle of haptic primary colors. We also aim to construct virtual reality and telexistence platforms that can deliver embodied experiences with haptic sensations.
In this symposium, the further development of our society to build a better future, led by AVATAR XPRIZE and LUNAR XPRIZE Challenges, will be discussed. LUNAR XPRIZE aims to develop low-cost methods of robotic space exploration and is at its final stage while newly launched AVATAR XPRIZE aims at the realization of Telexistence Society. We will also discuss how Japan has joined or will join this XPRIZE Foundation's worldwide grand challenges.
