Computer Animation Festival is the most popular program at SIGGRAPH where animation works full of cutting-edge CG technology gather from all over the world and the work evaluated as best there is automatically nominated for the next Oscar.
At SIGGRAPH 2014, 477 works were applied and 73 were accepted, among which 32 were reselected for the screening at Electronic Theater. Choice animation works out of those 32 will be screened at DC EXPO 2014.
Additionally, some of the past best works from Computer Animation Festival of SIGGRAPH Asia will be screened. SIGGRAPH Asia which is participated by a lot of Asian creators will be held in Shenzhen, China in December this year.
