SIGGRAPH2025でチューリッヒ工科大学（ETH）とディズニーリサーチの研究が「DCEXPO Special Prize」に決定

世界最大のCGとインタラクティブ技術の国際会議「SIGGRAPH2025」が、8月10～14日にカナダのバンクーバーで開催されました。当協会は、ACM SIGGRAPH（CGとインタラクティブ技術の学会）と連携し、毎年、優れた技術の表彰と受賞技術の交換展示を行っています。
今年は、厳正なる選考の結果、「LookingGlass: Generative Anamorphoses via Laplacian Pyramid Warping」が「DCEXPO Special Prize」に選ばれました。当該技術は、「INTERBEE IGNITION × DCEXPO」（2025年11月19日～21日幕張メッセ開催）で展示される予定です。

LookingGlass: Generative Anamorphoses via Laplacian Pyramid Warping

This interactive experience showcases generative models that create ambiguous anamorphoses—images that hold meaning both normally and when viewed through specific mirrors and lenses. Participants explore these illusions hands-on, generate their own using a custom UI, and take home a small cylindrical mirror to continue discovering hidden visuals beyond the exhibit.

SIGGRAPH and DCEXPO
1996年、ACM SIGGRAPHと一般財団法人デジタルコンテンツ協会（DCAJ）の前身NICOGRAPHとの間で協力の覚書を取り交わし、2001年にDCAJとして正式調印しました。
2014年、SIGGRAPH Emerging TechnologiesとDCEXPO Innovative Technologiesの間で優秀技術の賞交換を行う覚書を締結。2014年以降、それぞれの展示技術から審査により毎年優秀技術を選出して「ACM SIGGRAPH Special Prize」「DCEXPO Special Prize」として表彰し、次回のSIGGRAPH/DCEXPOにおいて優先展示を行う賞交換を続けています。
