ASIAGRAPH is a general event which puts on display the superior and unique digital content born out of a combination of science and art against the background of the diverse cultures of Asia. ASIAGRAPH will bring together the Asian researchers and creators active on the global frontlines of content creation for exhibits of artistic works and presentations of the latest technology. In recent years the unique content produced by Asian cultures has become very popular globally among all ages and nationalities. It is safe to say that the new value being created out of the chaotic mishmash of cultures in Asia will become central to the culture of the 21st century. Visitors to ASIAGRAPH will be led toward new areas of Asian content through an introduction of developing technology expected to create the culture of the future.

Concept

Moe! Asian Diversity

ASIAGRAPH is a general event with the goal of displaying to the world the superior and unique digital content born out of the combination of science and art within the diverse cultures of Asia. ASIAGRAPH has been a main event at DIGITAL CONTENT EXPOs for three years. This time, ASIAGRAPH will again introduce visitors to the latest scientific technology and artistic works.

The theme this year is “Moe! Asian Diversity”. In the past few years that which was once called “Japanese subculture”- manga, anime, video games, cosplay and so forth - has become wildly popular across the world. What is at the heart of this subculture if not the concept of moe? To tell the truth, the heart of ASIAGRAPH has been in a state of moe since the very beginning. This is not just about this year, the whole world has started to enter into a state of moe - at ASIAGRAPH we will reconfirm this. We invite everyone to come to ASIAGRAPH 2010 in Tokyo with a heart ready to take in Asia and experience a different dimension created out of the diverse cultures of the continent.
